Quality requirements
First of all, the title physiotherapist is protected by law as it is an officially recognized study. Once all the basic requirements have been met and the physical therapist is registered with the government, patients can be treated independently.
The Central Quality Register for Physiotherapy has been created by the professional organization Royal Dutch Physiotherapy Association (KNGF) to farther stimulate the quality of physiotherapy.
Only if a physical therapist meets all quality requirements for treatment, practical experience, (additional) training and consultation, and works according to the KNGF guidelines, you can register in the Central Quality Register for Physiotherapy.
All physiotherapists at Fysio Westlandgracht fully meet these quality requirements and are therefore registered in the Central Quality Register for Physiotherapy (see www.defysiotherapeut.com).
