After my (training) physical therapy education at the Hogeschool Amsterdam, I immediately started as an independent physiotherapist. This was motivated by my desire to have the freedom to further develop and refine my vision and ideas.
As a ‘mobile physiotherapist,’ I started with treating employees in their workplace – the precursor of occupational physiotherapy.
 
I consider having my 1st line physiotherapy practice plus my own occupational physiotherapy business as the perfect combination. A personal approach is key and a physical problem manifests itself often in work-related settings. 
My love for my work, the variety in my activities plus a strong belief in offering great care gives me enormous satisfaction.
 
In my private time, I have a great passion for scuba diving. Deep underwater, there is no other choice that to relax. It gives me plenty of energy and so I remain in balance between my work and my private life.

Since I completed my physical therapy education at the Hogeschool Amsterdam I choose to mix working as an employee with being an independent physiotherapist. For many years now I work 2 days in the Westlandgracht practice in the Hoofddorpplein area. I combine this with my work as an occupational physiotherapist.
 
My experience in both areas of expertise helps to quickly ascertain the source of your complaints followed by a proposed treatment plan. Together we make sure to establish the cause for a speedy recovery and to ensure that the recurrence rate is minimal. Together we will succeed.
 
My partner and I have 2 children, we are regularly found on the soccer fields to support our kids. I enjoy sports such as running, fitness and swimming, cabaret and reading with a preference for brain training like Quest/Kijk/EOS. 
 
You are most welcome in our practice for a full recovery.
